As 2024 draws to a close, here are my favorite photos from each of my photo shoots this year.

My goal for 2024 was to travel. And not just travel but cross off bucket list locations that I want to see and I decided to concentrate on locations in the United States.

I also have a goal to photograph a dog in every state in the US. In 2024, I marked Alaska, Idaho and Montana off the list this year and after seeing these places for the first time in my life, I want to go back. Can you pick out the photos from the ones below to tell which ones are Alaska, Idaho and Montana?

I would love to take a year off and just travel. Who wants to come along?

One of my goals for 2025 is to take Jeff on a long 3,000 mile road trip. I really want to photograph him at the Oregon tulip festival at the end of April. I’m not sure I’ll make it happen (for lots of reasons - more on that later) but it’s in the back of my mind.

Before I get ahead of myself already thinking about 2025 travel, here here are my favorite photos from each session I had in 2024, in no particular order:

98% of the photos I take are landscape / the traditional 3x2 aspect ratio but occasionally I turn the camera the other way and these end up being my favorites.

The most surprising thing about these photos to me? There are a lot of humans! LOL
