Commercial Pet Photography Bloopers
Commercial Photography - creating images used to sell, advertise or market a product. It’s so different from private client work but I love it.
With commercial photography, I’m creating the client’s vision. I need to understand what my client wants and what they want to say with their brand.
I couldn’t have planned this better. When I’m taking photos of dog toys, I need to use models that like toys. Watch this short video to see what happened:
I think it’s safe to say she likes godzilla.
Just because this is a commercial photo shoot doesn’t mean there aren’t bloopers. There are and some of them are hilarious.
This is Molly and she’s a service dog in training. She gave us some funny bloopers.
Here’s a series of photos I took during a commercial pet photography shoot for BoxDog. They’re a quarterly subscription box service where you get to choose the items you receive.
The company is based out of Florida. When the owner contacted me last year, I asked her how she found me. She said she googled “best pet photographer” and BARKography.com showed up on the first page of Google. She liked my style of photography so she reached out.
How awesome is that?
She made my day when she told me that. (And really, who am I kidding… that made my year!)
Here is Molly’s blooper reel. #bloopersbyBARKography
The bloopers always make me laugh. The camera is catching a split second in the life of a dog and sometimes the results are funny.
