PATTERNS: Dog Photography 52 Week Project: Week 10

Our week 10 Dog Photography 52 Week Project is all about patterns. Prior to getting into photography, I rarely noticed trees blooming and certainly not the patterns that rows of them formed. I notice them now. And I think they are pretty. And I want to photograph dogs in front of them.

This is Sailor and she belongs to Courtney of Off Leash Dog Training. This was my first time photographing her as she is a fairly new member of Courtney's household. I expect I'll get to photograph her frequently and that makes me happy!

I think I am safe to say that my world got prettier when I discovered photography. I notice the beauty around me now. I am sure I am not alone in this but when I see a pretty setting I think, "I'd like to put a dog right there and photograph him." I am guessing my photographer friends who are reading this are shaking their heads in agreement.

When the peach trees start to blossom, they make for really pretty backgrounds in photos. This was my first time I've tried. Even though they aren't fully blooming, I still think they're pretty.

It was windy on the day so I have to include these photos of Berkeley and Sailor and their fur blowing around.

The limbs from the peach trees form patterns behind Berkeley. I rarely get a smile from him so I LOVE this photo of him. Way to go Berk!

She's going to be fun to photograph!  Woot woot!

This is a blog circle and next up is I Got The Shot Photography, serving Northeastern PA and surrounding areas. Be sure to click the link at the bottom of each post to see what each photographer has to say about patterns.
