The Door to my Heart
This is a blog post for the 52 week pet photography project. We are a group of dog photographers from around the world who are given a subject and we write a blog and post photos about the topic.
This week the topic is “doors.” I immediately thought of photographing dogs in front of doors but then this thought occurred to me.
My dogs are the door to my heart. If you’re reading this, your dogs are probably the door to your heart too.
I love photographing dogs. I LOVE providing professional images of dogs to the dog moms and dads who love their dogs with their whole heart.
Recently I met up with a dog mom and her rescued pitbull Tigra in San Francisco. Tigra has battled cancer previously and her mom was recently told that she has another form of an aggressive cancer.
They are living life to the fullest and that included spending an afternoon with Audrey of Sunsets Unleashed and me on a hilltop in downtown San Francisco.
I know for a fact that Tigra is the door to her mom’s heart and her mom will cherish these images forever.
This is a blog circle and next up is Pet Love Photograph, serving Greater Cincinnati, the San Francisco Bay Area, and destinations nationwide. Be sure to click the link at the bottom of each post to see the other dog photographer’s photos of dogs and doors. You’ll end up back here when you’ve finished the circle.
