This is Willow, our 13 year old yellow lab who passed away unexpectedly on December 15th. She was my 4th lab. I've said goodbye to 3 others before her but this time was different. Different for a lot of reasons.

7 years ago we weren't looking for another dog. I got an email from one of my neighbors about a 5 year old "white" lab that needed a new home.

Moose and his Next Best Friend

We have started the search to find Moose his next best friend. Sadly and very unexpectedly, Willow passed away last week. We'd discussed getting a 3rd dog occasionally over the last year because we felt like Moose would do best when there is always someone home to keep him company but we never did it. So now we are looking for his next best friend.

UGLY SWEATERS: Dog Photographer 52 Week Project - Week 51

Ugly sweaters in the topic for this week's 52 week project and I think a lot of us are really unsure how to approach this week. Relaxing is the topic of our 52 week dog photography project and I am not lying when I say, I literally just picked up a calendar and looked to clarify that this is in fact week 50. It is! ARCHITECTURAL: Pet Photography 52 Week Project - Week 49

The theme for this week is architectural. Most of my photo sessions don't really include any architectural elements. Most of my sessions are at parks. Most don't have a lot of architectural elements or if they do, it's a bridge. If I'm going to write a blog about this topic and take photos this week using architectural elements, that was going to require some planning.
