NATURAL LIGHT: Pet Photography Project 52, Week 7

Our week 7 topic for the 52 week project is natural light. Natural light in photography is when the light source in your image is the sun. I am in a spectacular place for natural light photography. I am in Costa Rica. I wish I had some sunset photos to share with puppies in them but I do not. Not yet anyway. ** see below for an update and a new pic posted Friday morning. I saw monkeys!!

We arrived here late Wednesday evening and I woke up early Thursday morning and ran out with my camera. I was hoping to capture some photos of the howler monkeys that I could hear but only saw one and he was far away in the rain forest where the lighting was pretty dark. I am actually on vacation with the hubby for a few days so that means I don't have my camera with me 24/7. During our first sunset together here we will be enjoying a cold beverage or two and perhaps I'll snap a cellphone pic or two.

So since I don't have Moose with me or a dog model, this bird will have to do. And this flower that is right outside of my room.

This super short post makes up for my way long post last week. More images from Costa Rica next week (with dogs!!)

This is a blog circle and next up is Linda of DogShotz Photography serving Indianapolis Indiana. Click the link to see her natural light images. (As I just typed that I thought of my favorite beer that I drank when I was in college: Natural Light. That made me LOL!)

Dog images next week, I promise!

Natural light photography in a rain forest just after sunrise. My ISO was cranked up. These little buggers are hard to photograph b/c they move around to much and the lighting was not good. I got him though.... you can at least tell it's a monkey!
