According to wikipedia, bokeh is defined as "the aesthetic quality of the blur produced in the out-of-focus parts of an image produced by a lens or the way the lens renders out-of-focus points of light". In my images, the bokeh are the circles of light behind my subject.

The theme was announced at the end of last week on a day when I had a session scheduled so that night I was sure to take some shots with backlighting. My model Pearl was ready to call it quits at this point but I did ask her to pose a few more times because as the sun went down, it got prettier and prettier.
